In order to prevent America’s descent into socialism, The Minutemen, led by the charismatic Christopher Steadman, attempts to influence hundreds of congressional races by targeted killings and media intimidation. Former NYMPD Commissioner Harry Cassidy, at first sympathetic to their cause, joins the battle against them when his FBI agent daughter, Lizzy, is shot during an attack. The Minutemen are defeated, but the election results leads the country into becoming a socialist state, turning American citizens into welfare dependent slaves ruled by despotic politicians. Harry and Steadman now join forces to attempt to reverse this situation—and they don’t wait for the next election to accomplish it. This political thriller will keep you on the edge of your seat as the final battle to save America is joined.

Election Day A Harry Cassidy Novel edition by Henry Hack Mystery Thriller Suspense eBooks

I am a Henry Hack fan and have been following Harry Cassidy, Danny Boyland, etc from the beginning. I even have a treasured signed copy of The Last Crusade. With that said, this book scared the hell out of me. I couldn't put it down. I had to remind myself that this was a novel, a fantasy, thought up by some one. Election Day may be a novel but it's proof positive we have to stay interested in the direction our country is going. Were we becoming what this book portrayed, a socialist third world nation, ripe to be "taken over?" Two classes? The haves and the have nots? Government programs galore taking away our drive and desire to make our individual lives better? Secret squads terrorizing people? Then there's Cassidy, reluctantly getting involved (remember, he's retired) in the fight to get our country back on track. Will we win? Gritty, realistic and thought provoking. If you aren't squeamish, read the book. It's great.

Return of Harry Cassidy in an Election Day thriller. Exciting thriller involving the future of our country, and he fight to save.
a good book which was interesting and thought-provoking. Some very intense action which made it hard to put down when reading. I would recommend every member of Congress read this (good luck with that)
Got the end of chapter 15 and could not get book to go futher. Deleted & reinstalled. Still no luck. Uninstalled & reinstalled app. Still no luck. Spent AN HOUR on phone with support. Still no hope. Trying via my Samsung Galaxy 7 & Tab 3Lte

Anyone else?
What a coincidence to have read this book just days after the election. So many of the events in the book mirror what our country was becoming. We were blessed that so many citizens saw what was happening and voted to reject the lefty government. Who knows what would have happened? This book probably told what was in store for our country. God is good.
An Extremely exciting well written novel that really gets you thinking about the direction of this country. More then once I found myself cheering for the " Bad Guys " because they wanted to take this country back to what it once was - sad to say their ideas of how to accomplish this turned some heads the other way.
Great characters and plot - Harry Cassidy did not disappoint in getting to the bottom of it all.
Henry Hack has turned out another terrific novel and I Highly recommend you read this book . I'm sure you'll do as I did as I turned the pages wondering in which direction both Cassidy and the minute men were going to go. Great Book ! Well Done !
Rediculous? Not realistic? NO - this could really happen! Now that Donald Trump has been elected to be our POTUS, the doors are open to any outcome that you could imagine, and I say let it happen. This story is great ... and even though it is a fantasy, I can see the future here, and it is shocking. The socialists are trying to take over our country, and this is a worst case situation. Hope it never happens. I won't ruin it for you ... read it and send to your Democrat friends.
